Join our team and visit the best snorkelling locations in Lifou. Our tour departs from the wharf where the cruise ship tenders arrive. Look for us when you arrive.
Our qualified English speaking captain will cruise along the waterfront so that our guests can admire the beautiful limestone cliffs and the shore lined with pine and coconut trees. The captain will also explain how the cliffs were formed and answer your questions on the history of Lifou.
During the winter months, it's quite common to see humpback whales on their yearly visit to Lifou.
The snorkeling area is on the protected North West part of the island, close to the well known scuba diving sites. These untouched fringing reefs are only accessible by boat. The average depth is around 3 to 5 meters. More experienced snorkellers can snorkell along a reef which drops down to 20 meters. The water is very clear and the reefs healthy. There are colourful fish and sometimes turtles and small white tip sharks.
Our professional guides will accompany the participants and answer their questions regarding the marine life.
After snorkelling, our guests will be served hot or cold drinks and biscuits.
The cost of the 3 hour trip is 6300XFP and you can pay in Australian dollars, Pacific francs, bank card or AMEX.
